I provide individual therapy, couples therapy, and coaching to adults. Therapy begins with the initial intake meeting, a discussion about your unique concerns, goals, background, experiences, and personality. During the intake, I will do my best to inform you about the therapeutic process and share how I would work with you around your goals. The intake is 60 minutes long, and sessions after are typically 45 minutes on a weekly basis.
As we continue working together, I aim to facilitate greater awareness about the relationship between your past and present thoughts, feelings, behaviors and experiences. My therapeutic orientation is primarily humanistic, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, relational, strengths-based, multicultural, and mindfulness. (Click on the links for more information). I will collaborate with you to create an individualized treatment plan and adjust it as we continue to work together.
I believe the process of therapy will move you towards greater congruence with your ideal self and values, help you to gain valuable insight about yourself and your relationships, and give you tools that will support you in overcoming difficulties. Therapy can be freeing and empowering, and often leads to greater fulfillment and purpose in life.
